First and foremost, a SAPFI screening is at its most effective as part of a continuous cyclical process: once the screening has been done, reports are generated. These reports should lead to some form of action (intervention).
After an appropriate time lapse a follow-up screening should be done, followed by reports showing the results of the interventions and forming the basis of new interventions. Once the work force or part of it has been screened with the SAPFI instrument, the SAPFI system provides valuable information by way of individual and group reports on the psychological fitness of individuals or groups of individuals. The information contained in these reports should form the basis of action (preventative or remedial) to be taken by the organisation.
